Starbucks released the closure list. I looked up DC to see if they were closing the 4 or 5 of the Starbucks all located with a few blocks of each other in Dupont Circle.
Oddly, they are only closing 1 location in the District of Columbia and its the store at 21st and L.
Clicking over to California, they are at least closing 4 Starbucks that are near me at Lake Forest and Muirlands another at Oso Parkway and 2 in Tustin.

I received my newest Crate&Barrel catalog and saw one of my favorite TV foodies - Giada DeLaurentiis. She is partnering with Crate&Barrel to offer a new line of speciality foods in collaboration with Academia Barilla. She has a set of Olive Oils and Balsamic Vinegars as well as Sicilian Sea Salt and Tuscan Herbs.

So remember a few posts back I said that Nigella Lawson as in town for a book signing? Well I couldn’t go, but my friends Aaron and Davey went. Aaron had his iPhone with him and Nigella stopped the line to ask questions about it. She said that she was buying one as soon as she gets back to the UK.
I’m so jealous, wish I could have gone! :)
