I frequent farmers markets and buy foods directly from the farmers themselves. There is also a local food vendor fair at my campus once a week.
I am looking forward to ludotruck.
I support local farmers by going to weekly farmers market. I usually go to the one at the village of Orange or at the Costa Mesa fair ground on Thursday. You can also find other farmers market through the Orange County Farm Bureau website. Get Shaved is what I am looking for to beat the summer heat, but I love them all (^__^).
I support these farmers by purchase the fresh food even if its a pricey and out of my budget because it is so fresh.

I support local farmers by shopping at the local farmers market whenever I can. Another thing our family does that saves money and helps sustainabilty is planting much of our own herbs and veggies in our backyard. Doing so helps reduce our carbon footprint by cutting down on the gas we use to get to the grocery store and cutting down on the amount of plastic bags we accumulate.
I’m looking forward to trying out the Calbi Truck, because i can’t get enough of that dericious Korean BBQ!
I’m personally looking forward to Dogzilla; I’ve missed them at another event and was really bummed.
Farmers Markets are great, but what about looking for local co-ops? http://www.coopdirectory.org/directory.htm
As for my own lifestyle practices, I’m trying to start small. Right now I’m unplugging things when I’m not using them; even when things are plugged in but OFF they still use electricity. This phantom electricity sucks for my bill and the earth.
I also buy from Farmers Markets, but co-ops and local growers are fantastic. You can search to see what’s close to you by looking here: http://www.localharvest.org
I can’t wait to try Fishlips! I’ve never had sushi balls before.

There’s a market night near the city I live in every Thursday. I’ve been going to it since high school, though not necessarily buying the fresh produce until I was in college and had to fend for myself. I try to go to the other farmer’s markets whenever I visit other cities as well just to support those in that area too.
Definitely looking forward to the White Rabbit Truck. I’m filipino, but I’m super curious to find out what Filipino Fusion Food is all about.
Our family supports local farmers on wednesday evenings at our local farmers market. Always delish!
