A co-worker brought in a robot-shaped Vegan Chocolate Cake. Two layers of chocolate cake with raspberry filling, chocolate icing and almond slices on the outside. Being a non-Vegan I was very impressed with the taste of the cake. It was very moist and flavorful. I don’t have the recipe from the maker of the cake (his girlfriend) but as soon as I get it I will bake this cake and get the recipe posted.

This is also the obligatory first shot from my new Canon EOS Rebel XSi DSLR Camera with a 50mm f/1.8 lens. I’m still learning the in and outs of using a DSLR camera, but I think it turned out ok.

By the time I got to the cake, the “robot” was gone and all that was left was this piece. Needless to say it was gone after I took this shot! :)
