Condé Nast is bringing Gourmet Magazine back, but as an iPad app. Yes, you read that right. The new online magazine will be called Gourmet Live and will cary the same content as the old magazine with it’s main content being about cooking and fine dinging.

There will be a social media component to the magazine where readers will be able to interact and share ideas and recipes.

Initial reports is that the app will be available for free in the App Store and that future content will be richer and have a price tag attached.

This new venture is expected to go live sometime later this year.
