This just in from cyberspace! Top Chef’s Rich Sweeney in San Diego will be taking over a restaurant space in San Diego currently occupied by Basalacchi’s Ristorante. Basalacchi’s will be moving to a new space up the street after being in their current location for over 23 years!

Rich has been looking for a space to open his Contemporary Retro-American food place. If all goes well, R Gang Eatery will open in June and will be host to the scores of San Diegans and his fans that will stop by this new contemporary upscale eatery.
