Crate and Barrel’s new venture CB2 comes to the Los Angeles area with a storefront located at 8000 Sunset Blvd, the location of the old Virgin Megastore. Grand Opening ceremonies take place on Thursday, April 30.

CB2 is Crate & Barrel’s destination for modern furnishings, lifestyle and decor at a bit more affordable price point. Smart designs, clever materials. Neat stuff, cool colors. They center around categories such as Eat, Sleep, Work, Live, Decorate, Outdoor, Work and Splash.

For us foodies, CB2 carries a nice selection of dinnerware, flatware, stemware, party stuff, barware and tableware. In the furniture section they do have dining tables, chairs and storage.

CB2 currently has two stores in Chicago, and one each in New York City, San Francisco and Berkeley, CA.
