Remember the old Baker’s Square on El Toro Road in Lake Forest? Well it seems the building has gotten a fresh coat of Mohave and Red and is readying itself to becoming a Denny’s soon. Baker’s Square closed up suddenly a couple of months ago.

Signage is up and a COMING SOON banner sits on the building facing El Toro Road. There is no sign on the door as to when the opening is.

Seems a bit too close to another Denny’s just off Alicia Parkway which is a mile up the road. I wonder if they will affect each others’ sales. Hmmmm.

Another interesting note, there used to be a Denny’s located diagonally across the street at what is now an Asia Buffet at 23552 El Toro Road. I wonder why they left and decided to come back?
