Hahaha...you and I are more akin than you think. I kept trying to tell my nieces what to do, but in the end, letting them do what they want was best!

I totally colored eggs the other night with my best friend and her husband. first time in i bet 10 years. so much fun. wish i had been doing it more often. The Paas kit out there still does contain the white crayon to do the relief work, and they also have the boiling shrinky dink sleeves for the egg. ahhh memories. i, being a designer am a little OCD about the egg coloring, but none the less it was a good time. Happy Easter!

That's right...I remember those. They didn't have those in our kit either. My nieces would dunk them in the color and them take them out and scratch them with the end of the paintbrush then drunk them in the next color - that's how they got that weird marbling effect. These kids! :)

We dyed eggs yesterday with our daughter for the first time. My wife and I were both disappointed that they no longer include the crayons so you can write stuff on the eggs before you dunk them in the dye.
