dennys1 So today, February 3, Denny’s is offering a FREE Grand Slam Breakfast to anyone who wants one.

My IT colleagues and I decided to check it out and the line wrapped around the building! The parking lot at this location at Alicia Parkway and the 5 Fwy was packed and lines of cars in the aisles. I have never seen the parking lot filled before, its a pretty dead shopping center.

Anyway, there is only 1 hour and 10 minutes left to get a Grand Slam as of the writing of this post!

The Denny’s that we visited is very close to Leisure World, a retirement city. On normal days, I would say, at this location, the average is Young Adult-ish (16-29)…

Today however, the line was probably 50/50.

What would you estimate as the average age of the customers waiting in line? We tried to get on the Denny’s website the other night during the Super Bowl just to see where one was in the Baltimore area and you couldn’t even get on the site. This is the most publicity Denny’s has gotten since the flurry of discrimination lawsuits.
