National Sushi Party

The Seafood Watch organization sponsored by the Monterey Bay Aquarium has been putting out a guide of Endangered Fish species and recommendations for more sustainable seafood choices for the last several years. This year they will expand their guide with a new guide to include sustainable Sushi choices. 

As a promotion to the awareness of sustainable sushi choices, Seafood Watch is sponsoring the National Sushi Party from Wednesday, October 22 to Tuesday, October 28. This also leads up to National Sushi Day on November 1.

Much like the Seafood Watch Pocket Guide, the Sushi Watch Pocket Guide is a list of recommendations that helps you select sushi made from seafood that is caught or raised in ways that won’t hurt our oceans.
