Camera Test: Mother’s Cookies

So after writing Mother’s Cookies is No Longer, I went out to the market to buy some. I took a picture using a Canon Powershot G3. I placed the products on a white backdrop, but I still have poor lighting. Hopefully I will be able to procure the correct lighting this weekend.

In any case, here is my attempt:

    Thanks Matt. It was hard. There was tape involved, trust me! Of course, with crappy lighting and my amateur eye, there was reflection from the garish flash. I don’t have a diffuser or was able to bounce the flash off anything. But I was pleased with it nonetheless.

    Scott, you did great work here! I’ll have you know — as a professional product photographer — that you picked some of the hardest things to photograph here and should be pleased that you got such a great photo.

    Multi colored panels, a shape that won’t stay true unless propped up, reflective material, different sizes, I could go on. This ain’t easy and you did great!
